In this blog I want to deal with <strong><em>the Gospel and its definition.<\/em> <\/strong>The word gospel literally means good news. Paul tells us in our text\u00a0that the Gospel is what God used to save him. In verses three and four Paul tells us that the Gospel is made up of three elements. One of these is that Christ died for our sins. The word sin is in the plural. When He died on the cross He took away all my sins that my friend is good news. We are told of other elements and\u00a0they are\u00a0that He was buried and rose again. When Christ died I\u00a0died with Him. When Christ was\u00a0buried I was buried with Him. When Christ arose I arose with Him. When He sat down at the right hand of the Father I sat down with Him.
