I draw our attention today to <strong><em>look who is the King<\/em><\/strong>. We&#8217;re told in our text that\u00a0Herod is King. He is an Edomite made king\u00a0by Augustus. He is full of falsehood and cruelty but history calls him Herod the great. In his 35th year\u00a0Jesus comes on the scene to fulfill\u00a0Jacob&#8217;s prophecy in Genesis 49 when he said, the scepter has\u00a0departed from Judah and the lawgiver from\u00a0between His feet and therefore now Shiloh will come an unto Him shall the gathering of the people be.
