In our text we see the wickedness of <strong><em>bloody Herod<\/em><\/strong>. Let us remember he is an Edomite a descendent of\u00a0Doeg the Edomite\u00a0who ruthlessly killed a host of God&#8217;s priest. He\u00a0himself killed three of his own sons and the third five days before his own death. Let us not be shocked when\u00a0lost men show their depravity and wickedness it\u00a0is only natural for them to do it\u00a0then as well as now.
