Our text today introduces us to John the Baptist Jesus&#8217; cousin. He is known in Isaiah 40\u00a0and verse three of our text as <strong><em>the voice crying in the wilderness<\/em><\/strong>. He is a lone voice announcing Christ the King\u00a0is coming upon the scene.
