In our text today we find <strong><em>a description of John the Baptist<\/em><\/strong>. He was a rugged man like the old preacher Elijah, as matter of fact they seem to be one and the same to some. His garments and food seemed to magnify self-denial and humility. We can do nothing for the Lord unless we humble ourselves because God says He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
