In our text for today we are drawn to the phrase and <strong><em>the heavens were opened unto Him<\/em><\/strong>. It is clear the world and ministry were opening before Him but great\u00a0 was the fact that the\u00a0heaven was opened unto Him. In this opening there are two confirmations given. One is the word from the Father saying this is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased. There was also the confession of the anointing of the Holy Ghost when the dove of heaven\u00a0came down and lit upon Him. Throughout His earthly ministry He always looked to the heavens for His strength.\u00a0May we\u00a0to be\u00a0sure of these two confirmations a word from God and the\u00a0anointing \u00a0of the Holy Ghost before we\u00a0embark upon doing anything in this world that will affect time and eternity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse again today from Matthew 3:16-17 and the theme of Jesus the King.
