We are looking in these days at the Kingly principles set forth in what is called and the Beatitudes. I find in our text today <strong><em>the third Beatitude<\/em><\/strong>. We are told it is the portion of great happiness to the one who is meek. The word literally means\u00a0lowly minded or to\u00a0have a low opinion\u00a0or regard for oneself or the things one can see. They do not\u00a0place a high value or\u00a0regard for the temporal things of this world. It is interesting that the commemoration for them\u00a0is that they shall inherit the earth. They become the heirs of all that God has created.
