Today\u00a0I draw our attention to <strong><em>the\u00a0salt likeness<\/em><\/strong>. Salt is a preservative. Our Lord has spread His children around the world as a preserving against sin. If they were to be taken way the world would putrefy. This losing of savor in the\u00a0salt is not an indication of one losing their salvation that is utter nonsense. It does speak of the salty Christian who is no longer full of grace and truth. In this condition one\u00a0is not preserving all our persevering in his walk with the Lord. Our text\u00a0tells us\u00a0one in this state is good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden under the foot of the world.
