In this portion of scriptures our Lord begins to show how the Christ life will always demand more righteousness than the legalist can produce. In verse 21 we are told the law tells us not to <strong><em>kill<\/em><\/strong> less we be brought before a human judge. In verse 22 Jesus said His demands are for us to be careful of our <strong><em>anger<\/em><\/strong> without a righteous cause against our brother. He also says be careful of anger that produces hurtful words toward another. Our Lord says this violation could put us in danger of hell fire.
