Our Lord has dealt in this section with many vices that may attach themselves to our prayers now He offers for us a <strong><em>model prayer<\/em><\/strong>. It\u00a0has been called by some the Lord&#8217;s prayer. I feel John 17 should obtain the title the Lord&#8217;s prayer and this one the model prayer. In our text for today the model prayer begins by giving\u00a0the Father\u00a0a place of high regard and reverence. He must be revealed to us as our\u00a0Father denoting a personal relationship. We must also while realizing He is our\u00a0Father at the same time\u00a0we must also see that He resides in heaven as the sovereign over all. When we begin our prayers by lifting Him up we are hollowing or giving great authority and adoration to who He is.\u00a0I fear many of our prayers begin with give us this day our daily bread and not hollowed\u00a0be His name\u00a0.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse again today from Matthew\u00a06:9 and the theme of Jesus the King.
