Throughout the Bible\u00a0the mercy prayer is the most often prayed prayer and\u00a0never denied but once. In our text the demons make a<strong><em> desire for mercy<\/em> <\/strong>in the words suffer us to go. He was merciful even to a demon&#8217;s prayer for mercy.\u00a0The only time this prayer is denied\u00a0was when the rich man in hell cried for mercy.
