In our study there are <strong><em>questions about fasting<\/em><\/strong>. Their first question was why do John&#8217;s disciples and the\u00a0Pharisee fast often,\u00a0this one He\u00a0did not answer but His silence did. He answered the second one of why did His disciples not fast and it was\u00a0because they were in the presence of the bridegroom. We can only have joy unspeakable in\u00a0His presence.\u00a0All ritualistic fasting that does not have as its ultimate\u00a0end to get into\u00a0His presence\u00a0is but the shell of religion and\u00a0nothing else.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse again today from Matt 9:15 and the theme of Jesus the\u00a0King.
