In our study for today we see a lesson on <strong><em>old garments versus new garments<\/em><\/strong>. Our Lord reminds\u00a0the disciples about the\u00a0garments of traditions, rituals, and\u00a0Old Testament legalism.\u00a0He says\u00a0it is dangerous to try to patch up those garments with the new garments of righteousness. I feel the danger of keeping a list of dos and don&#8217;ts\u00a0for the child\u00a0God is more dangerous than\u00a0being addicted to cocaine. It leaves you thinking no one has arisen to your level of Christianity but those who keep the rules you do. After a while you&#8217;ll look around and\u00a0instead of\u00a0folks looking like\u00a0Christ they begin to look like you.
