In our text for today we find some\u00a0thoughts on putting <strong><em>new wine in old bottles<\/em><\/strong>. John the Baptist\u00a0followers were\u00a0trying to hold on to the old testament tradition\u00a0while trying\u00a0to follow Jesus. Jesus refused to pour the new wine of\u00a0the Holy Ghost\u00a0into these old bottles of traditionalism. I fear\u00a0many Baptist\u00a0today are trying to\u00a0live on the Old Testament side of the cross instead of the New Testament side were all is finished.. On this side of\u00a0the cross\u00a0man is judged by the state\u00a0of his heart\u00a0and not the style of his dress.
