{"id":4572,"date":"2015-08-09T22:42:04","date_gmt":"2015-08-09T22:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tomgilliam.wordpress.com\/?p=4572"},"modified":"2023-09-01T00:21:09","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T00:21:09","slug":"musing-from-matthew-receiving-more-than-you-think","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tomgilliam.com\/?p=4572","title":{"rendered":"Musing From Matthew- Receiving More Than You Think"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Let us muse again today from Matthew 10:40 and the theme of <strong><em>Jesus the king.<\/em><\/strong>In our text for today we find truth on the subject of <strong><em>receiving more than\u00a0you think.<\/em><\/strong> Let us be careful in rejecting a true man of God just because you don&#8217;t understand or have not had reveal to you what is being taught. In so doing you may be rejecting Christ. When truth is being taught we don&#8217;t understand, try the spirits, search the scriptures, check history to see if those truths have been taught or believed by great men from days gone by before you reject them.
