We are told Herod hearers of the fame of Jesus. He has been too busy up till now with self to\u00a0hear of Jesus. the peasants of that day know more about Jesus than the prince. When he hears of his fame his first\u00a0thought was that John has got up from the dead. It would be wonderful\u00a0for one\u00a0to get us mixed up with Jesus. Herod did admit to the mighty works and wonders being done by both of these men, John and Jesus.\u00a0I rejoice in the mighty work of grace Jesus has done in my life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let us use again today from Matthew 14:1 and the theme of Jesus the King.
