The Pharisees apparently had made friends with the disciples and\u00a0the disciples come to Jesus and told Him did\u00a0you know the Pharisees were offended by what you said? Our Lord had purposely said what He did to see if it would offend them. It had\u00a0unmasked them for\u00a0what they really were. When tempted to deal sympathetically with offended people remember Psalms 119:165 great peace have they\u00a0which \u00a0love thy law; and nothing shall offend them.
